HSE Commercial Scuba Diver Training

An HSE Commercial Scuba Diver Certificate is an Approved Diving Qualification under the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 (DWR).

An Approved Diving Qualification is a legal requirement in the UK to undertake paid diving work in areas such as:-

• Media - TV film etc
• Scientific
• Archaeological
• Shellfish diving
• Inland / inshore

All of these areas have their own individual Approved Codes of Practice (ACoPs).

We offer a 9 DAY ASSESSMENT for experienced divers to include training in use of full face masks and band masks, with voice communications

• Training available on site to meet minimum entry requirements
• Train in Plymouth, Devon in the South West of England

Minimum entry requirements for 9 day assessment are:

• CMAS 2 star or equivalent
• PADI Rescue Diver
• SAA Dive Leader
• BSAC Dive Leader

with

• Evidence of a minimum of 25 dives over varying depths, the majority of which should have been in UK type conditions using a dry suit

plus

• HSE First Aid at Work
• Oxygen Administration Certificate
• Current HSE Medical Certificate of Fitness to Dive
